This afternoon for social studies, we are beginning our new novel, which will be read in class only as a group. We will also be watching a brief video on Economics.
I am thrilled to be teaching here at BCS for my 14th year. I am looking forward to an amazing year with all of you. Overall, I have been teaching for 16 years. I attended Albion college, where I received my teaching degree and shortly after that I received my masters degree in Reading and Language Arts at Oakland University. I have two daughters, Mackenzie-age 10, who is in the fifth grade and Erin-age eight, who is in the third grade. Both my husband and I grew up as swimmers, and now my girls are enjoying swimming as well.
This school year is going to be filled with fun, innovative new curriculum, awesome integraded-projects, and two very enthusiastic teachers:-)
