For Homeroom, we are going to be going to the lab to work on our portfolios for conferences. They are right around the corner, so you will want to make good use of your time.
I am thrilled to be teaching here at BCS for my 14th year. I am looking forward to an amazing year with all of you. Overall, I have been teaching for 16 years. I attended Albion college, where I received my teaching degree and shortly after that I received my masters degree in Reading and Language Arts at Oakland University. I have two daughters, Mackenzie-age 10, who is in the fifth grade and Erin-age eight, who is in the third grade. Both my husband and I grew up as swimmers, and now my girls are enjoying swimming as well.
This school year is going to be filled with fun, innovative new curriculum, awesome integraded-projects, and two very enthusiastic teachers:-)
